The Finnish Data Processing Museum Association collects and preserves data processing devices and other material related to data processing. The Association also presents exhibitions related to data processing at various sites around Finland.
The association’s goal
Association maintains, as far as possible, the equipment and knowledge to convert obsolete media to the contemporary formats. These include e.g. reading data from punch cards or tapes and disks of different size.
Facilities and exhibitions
Association has two continuous exhibits of data processing devices at the Jyväskylä University Agora -technology building in Mattilanniemi and JAMK University of Applied Sciences -Technology Unit in Lutakko. The exhibits are free and open to the public entrance during the opening hours of the locations.
